At Family Church you are an
important part of the growing body of Christ, so we want to connect with
you! Family Church offers an ever-expanding variety of ministries
designed to meet the needs of all people by providing opportunities for
training, growth, and fellowship. Targeting specific ages and interests,
these ministries provide a means of connection with others in small and
large group settings.
Men
The purpose of Men’s Ministry is to
connect men to God, to their families, to church, and to their careers.
Through special events and activities specifically targeted to men, our
monthly Men’s breakfast and devotion increases the opportunities for the
men of Family Church to make these vital connections. Activities include
Men’s Prayer Breakfasts (3rd Saturday of every month @ 9 am), which
provide a time for men of the church to bring their friends and
co-workers to Family Church as well as to interact with one another and
to combine fellowship with a special time of prayer. Fishing trips,
horseback riding, fish fry and crawfish boils, and more are all outings
that the men’s ministry take advantage of quarterly.
Women
The purpose of Women's Ministry is to
connect women to God, to their families, to church, and to their
careers. Through special events and activities specifically targeted to
women, our Ladies Ministry increases the opportunities for ladies of
Family Church to make these vital connections. From Bible studies to
Spring and Fall gatherings, ladies are provided with numerous avenues to
join in fellowship and to grow personally and spiritually.
City Care
City Care is a community arm of
Family Church. It is designed to build bridges, and it exists to
show God's love for people through acts of kindness and selfless
serving. It's about reaching people with a message that
transforms. City Care encompasses three primary, practical
ministry opportunities: Servolution, Shoeman.org, and Adopt-A-Block.

Music
Music lifts the spirit, opens the
heart, and ushers us into the presence of God. With musicians, a Praise
and Worship Team, and special events the Music Ministry, working in
unison with the Sound and Media ministries, provide an opportunity for
‘people to minister to people and to God’. Our services features
contemporary music rounded out with a few other musical styles as well.
Infant Care/Family Lounge
Family Church is blessed with an
Infant Care Center/Family Lounge that is staffed during Sunday services
to help parents care for their children, even in a worship setting.
Prefer to care for your child in the Family Lounge? You can still be
connected to the service through a live audio/video feed displayed on
high quality LCD monitors. Our Family Lounge boasts a comfortable and
private nursing room for nursing mothers.
LIFE Singles
The LIFE (Living In Faith
Everyday!) Singles ministry at Family Church is a new ministry and seeks
to provide opportunity for fellowship, growth, and support for singles
and single parents.
Children and CHOSEN Youth
Toddler, KidZ Church and Youth
classes lead students to Christ using age appropriate methods, equipping
them with knowledge of the bible so they can live abundant, overcoming
lives and become effective witnesses for Christ. For more information on

IRON
IRON is a new ministry of
Family Church. "Iron sharpeneth iron.." Family Church is actively
training others for ministry and IRON provides opportunities for growth
for all who are called to lead in ministry.
Married Couples
Married couples of all ages
join together on a bi-monthly basis at Family Church to fellowship, do
marriage strengthening studies and activities and communicate with other
married couples about questions, advice, and general sharing. Our themed
dinners are accompanied by music, date night give-a-ways, hilarious
games, free child care, and just a lot of fun. Our purpose for the
Married Couples Ministry is to create an environment where married
couples can experience spiritual and relational growth and gain
practical skills toward developing and maintaining lasting marriage
commitments.
GPS
GPS ministry is designed for
people age 50 and older. This group meets bi-monthly for a dinner,
special music, jokes and fun. If you want a great meal and some good
conversation, GPS is the place to be.
Guest Services
We welcome all who will to
become a part of Family Church. We consider our guests the most
important people in any service, and so Guest Services representatives
are ready to greet, serve and welcome all who come, as well as provide
information about ministries and our facility. Our main goal is to make
a guest’s stay as pleasant as possible and his/her return inevitable.
The Guest Services Team embodies the command to "practice hospitality"
(Romans 12:13, NIV). Guest services encompasses our Hosting,
Hospitality, and Ushering Staff.
Service Leading
Our service leaders help to
usher the congregation into God’s presence through encouraging words,
worship, focused prayer, and praise times. This ministry also encourages
group interaction through prayer and ‘meet and greet’ portions of the
service.
M.O.D.E.L.
M.O.D.E.L. is an acronym for
"Mindful Obedient Daughters Elevating the Lord". As a group of
M.O.D.E.L. girls ages 11 & up, we meet every few weeks. We want to equip
young ladies with tools to withstand peer pressure, encourage them in
their relationship with God, parents, friends, and help them recognize
the value of inner beauty and outward faith! It is our belief that every
girl is uniquely created and gifted, and it is our goal to help them see

Sound
Our sound engineers work hard
to create a good audio environment by monitoring audio levels through
praise and worship and preaching times. They also assist singers and
speakers with tracks, clips, and any other audio needs.
Media
Our media team not only
provides lyric and scripture projection, but vibrant graphics for
announcements as well as other video presentations. Media enhances our
worship services greatly and helps us communicate in a great visual way.
Expansion Team
Our expansion team assists the
pastor in exploring growth opportunities for Family Church through real
estate research, building projects, as well as help in maintaining our
present facility. They are a great strength to Family Church.
