Seven billion people occupy this tiny slice of history. And it's not by accident. God chose our generation to make a difference–but He doesn’t want us to do it alone. Find out how in our new sermon series "Jesus and We."

Making the decision to turn from the world and follow Jesus is the single most important decision you will ever make! It literally changes your eternity! Acts 2:38-39 (MSG) says this:
Peter said, “Change your life. Turn to God and be baptized, each of you, in the name of Jesus Christ, so your sins are forgiven. Receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. The promise is targeted to you and your children, but also to all who are far away—whomever, in fact, our Master God invites.”

When we make the decision to follow Jesus, we die to our old life and let God raise us up into a NEW life with Him! He promises to fill us with His Spirit (Acts 2) and we are empowered to do the things that He desires as we grow in relationship with Him! Let today be the day that you decide to take the plunge to wear His name through water baptism! It doesn’t get any more exciting than this!!

In just weeks, the Bradshaw family will be welcoming a precious baby girl to their family! Join us on Sunday, March 26th as we help them celebrate with a baby shower luncheon, after service! All are welcome. A light lunch will be served so please RSVP. *Jessica is registered at Babies R Us.

Hey CHOSEN! Camp Kairos is approaching quickly! The dates are June 19-23 and this year's theme is "Eyes Open!" It is based on Hebrews 11:1 which says “Faith is the confidence that what we hope for will actually happen; it gives us assurance about things we cannot see.” We have faith in what we hope for, trust, and encounter in our Savior. Although unseen, we believe. Our eyes are open to what we do not see.

We will have more exciting details later, but this is what we know so far:
- Registration will be open soon! From Andrew Layden: We will do a giveaway for those who register early. No payment is required to register, but please remind your students that a mandatory, non-refundable $50 deposit is due in April."
- A new and improved menu is being designed with the help of Andrew Layden's wife.
- Campers will be staying in the "luxury" cabins across the lake this year!
- Services/sessions will be in a larger auditorium this year also.

How is your Camp Kairos savings coming? We will plan to do our Culinary Auction on Sunday, May 7th, so start planning now about what you would like to contribute! We may also auction off youth to help with babysitting, chores, etc. Be thinking about how you might like to serve to help raise funds. We are looking forward to what God is going to do!

Hi all! So we are super excited about the Spring Fair this year! As you know, last year we had some really cute game booths and sno cones and hot dogs. In addition, we had a dramatic tour, "Journey To The Resurrection" that was really neat! It began with each family receiving a passport to have stamped at each destination on the journey. First, they see Jesus triumphal entry on a donkey near a bazaar. They then visited Barabbas in prison. Next, they visited Golgotha where a Roman soldier told of what happened to Jesus. Then they visit the tomb to try to find Jesus...but he is not there! Lastly, they visited a Hot Air Balloon where they learned about how we will rise to meet Jesus when He returns, if we are full of His Spirit! We are excited to present THE GOSPEL - GOOD NEWS again this year to families in our community!

We are also super excited to have an opportunity to bless a very special ministry in St. Peters called The Sparrow's Nest. Katherine Soberg is a friend of Mrs Missouri, Heather Kemper-Hussey. She is also the Director for The Sparrow's Nest. You can check out their website.Basically, they are a home in St. Peter's that houses 8-9 teen mothers or mothers-to-be. They are young girls (18 or younger) who are pregnant with no place to go. They are also high risk of aborting the baby. So The Sparrow's Nest invites them in, shows them the love of Christ, helps them graduate high school, take parenting classes, find a church, volunteer, and more. They are welcome to stay in the home for up to a year after they give birth. TSN is always in search of church partners, volunteers for monthly serve day at the house, and program volunteers (to help teach girls classes like cooking, cleaning, health, diet, finance, etc.).

Our Spring Fair has always been free and will be again this year. However, we thought it would be fitting to give people an opportunity to bring an item to donate to TSN. This year, we're asking for a package of diapers. This will be a huge blessing to these young mothers and their babies. We are also very excited for future partnerships with TSN! Katherine is going to help us coordinate this and some future City Care volunteer opportunities!

Wondering how you can help?

2. Share the event with your family, friends, neighbors, etc.
3. Volunteer! We will need YOU to make this happen. Click HERE and sign up to serve that day!

5. We will also have flyers that we will need your help in distributing. We will have those soon!
Thank you for helping us reach our community for Jesus! As we tell our sons, the treasures of this earth will rust and rot, but what we do for Christ will last forever. We have exciting opportunities to minister God's love!
